This is a momentous moment writing my first blog to you all. I can't deny that it is a little bit nerve racking, there is so much to say to you about dating and relationships that I don't really know where to start.

This is,of course, significant in posting the first message to you on Valentine's Day.   I know it is an ordinary day really but so much is made of it.  I want to give you a different perspective on this day.  What if Valentine's Day is the day you remind yourself that the most important relationship you have is the relationship that you have with yourself.

Why would you wait to have the most wonderful life that you can have?   I wouldn't.   How about starting right now?   What are the things that you really want for yourself that you do not allow yourself to have?   I'm not talking just about what you can buy, although we know how important shopping is for some, but about the time, experiences, fun, laughter and all the other thrilling parts of life that don't rely on being in a relationship.

So concentrate on the 364 other days of the year and what you want out of them.
